Openoffice Change Default Font

I am wanting to change the default font settings on a 'Text Document' within OpenOffice. Is it possible to change it from the default 'Times New Roman' point size 12 to 'Helvetica Neue' point size 10.5 if I have the font on my computer? This above is wrong. To change the Default Font on AOL 9 on XP, go to Safety, (top menu bar), settings, 'Font & Text Settings', select the required font/size, and save.
